Profile of Angela Bailey Photography – Weddings,
School Classes, Portraiture and Landscape

After studding photography at Newcastle College I gained a credit in portraiture, landscape photography, exhibition photography printing and black and white photography.

My experience in the field began when I went on to carry the bags for a few professional photographers, learning how to cover Weddings and learn more about portraiture. This progressed into working for them which ultimately led to my decision to become a self-employed photographer.

My passion in photography led me to starting up my own business in 1997, specialising in weddings, portraiture and school work. My love is black and white landscapes which I do as a hobby.

I used Nikon film-based cameras, and a Hasselblad for wedding photography, before changing to Nikon digital cameras. I still prefer my film-based Hasselblad which I feel delivers a far superior quality in print, but went digital as expectations from clients required more photographs per assignment.

In my photographic work I try to be as flexible and relaxed as possible, so I match my client’s needs and expectations from the photography that I deliver to them. I also make every effort to ensure that my photographic prices are very competitive.
